Mystic Volleyball League Participation Terms & Conditions 

1. Acceptance of Terms:

By registering your child for participation in the Mystic Youth Volleyball Leagues, clinics, or camps, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern the participation of players, parents/guardians, and volunteers in the League.

2. Registration and Fees:

2.1 Eligibility: Participants must fall into the age and skill requirement of the program they wish to participate in unless accommodations were agreed upon.

2.2 Registration Fee: All participants must pay the non-refundable registration fee by the deadline specified on the website or registration form.

2.3 Late Registration: Registrations received after the deadline may incur an additional late fee, and participation may be subject to available space.

3. Code of Conduct: 

3.1 Player Conduct: Players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect teammates, coaches, referees, and opposing players.

3.2 Parent/Guardian Conduct: Parents/guardians must be supportive of all players, coaches, and referees. Negative or disruptive behavior is not tolerated.

3.3 Coach Conduct: Coaches agree to prioritize player development, safety, and positive reinforcement. Abusive or inappropriate behavior will result in disciplinary action.

3.4 Prohibited Actions: Fighting, bullying, and harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disciplinary action, including potential expulsion from the League.

4. Equipment and Uniforms:

4.1 Uniforms: Uniforms will be provided by the club if needed. Players are responsible for wearing the full uniform at each game of the league.

4.2 Safety Gear: Players must wear appropriate safety gear, including appropriate footwear and attire (knee pads are optional) during all games and practices.

5. Attendance and Participation:

5.1 Commitment: Players are expected to attend all practices, games, and team activities. Parents/guardians must notify coaches of any expected absences.

5.2 Substitutions: Coaches may adjust playing time based on attendance, effort, and other factors relevant to team performance and development.

6. Waivers and Liability:

6.1 Assumption of Risk: Volleyball is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. By participating in our programs, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for any injuries that may occur.

6.2 Medical Consent: In the event of an emergency, parents/guardians authorize Mystic Volleyball Club to arrange medical treatment as deemed necessary.

6.3 Liability Waiver: Mystic Volleyball Club, its directors, coaches, volunteers, and staff are not liable for any injury or loss sustained during practices, games, or any other League-related events.

7. Media Release:

By participating, parents/guardians consent to the use of photos and videos of players taken during activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the League's website, social media, and marketing materials.

8. Refund Policy:

Registration fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided for players who withdraw from activities for any reason, including disciplinary removal.
